Hey all! I drove up to the Seattle area on Saturday – LONG day, LONG drive! But the sky was blue, the recent snowfall in the pass had been plowed from the road and I made it safely 
Over the next few weeks, I’m looking forward to taking more pictures of this beautiful area! Maybe even venture across the border into Canada…So much to see, so little time!

Through the Pass

Hello! I put off Week 9′s post for a day so I could provide you with a product review – and my product arrived yesterday. Let’s just say I’m amazed. It is stunning! I didn’t take a picture because it wouldn’t do it justice!
I ordered a 16×20 print on acrylic from Imagekind – a first time order from this site as well as a first time on acrylic. First, I expected the processing time and shipping time they estimated to be longer than they indicated (3 business days to process and ship and 3 more business days to receive – total 6 business days from order to receipt). Believe it or not, I received it on the estimated delivery date!
Second, I expected the image to be fuzzy and color-corrected, as other prints or products have appeared (from other vendors since this was my first order with Imagekind). Not a chance! The image was sharp, the colors were bright and the image was exactly as I intended.
Imagekind printed on the back of the acrylic and the effect is amazing…stunning…luminous! I am so impressed with their craftsmanship – they brought my image to life!
I will definitely order from Imagekind again – on acrylic for sure - but I will also be taking a closer look at their other products!

Happy Presidents Day! It has been a whirlwind weekend – roadtrip to the Black Hills of South Dakota. So much to see! We got snowed on and slobbered on (ok, the car got slobbered on by the buffalo ;-) ). Even with the winter weather, it was a gorgeous weekend. I took so many pictures I decided to give you a few of my faves from my phone this week since it may be a bit before I download my camera pix The presidents were awe-inspiring on Mount Rushmore, the iced lakes and resevoirs were amazing and the views were breathtaking. We even walked onto the ice at Sheridan Lake where I snapped the snowman. It was a weekend of firsts!

Wow! Can you believe that we have already finished 6 weeks of 2013?
This past week I was busy working on inventory, set up, selling and take down for the Oh Sweet Sadie! show – BUSY! I even ran/walked the Cupid Chase 5k this past weekend to keep it interesting (I blame Kristen!) And this afternoon, I moved my special “Resident on Display” collection from the Lorem Ipsum to the Gale Center. I didn’t have much time for taking pictures – besides those of my inventory and set up ;-) I did grab a quick pic of footprints in the snow – we got more of that this weekend!
BTW the inventory left over from the show will be available for purchase online very soon. I’m looking at online crafters markets and the option to add a shopping cart to my site – decisions to make, code to write, pictures to load….SOON! I promise!

Well, it is definitely still winter here! A storm blew through a few days ago, dropped a lot of white stuff, then cleared out. Last night, the fog rolled in and the morning frost was amazing! The snow seems to be melting but thats a good thing, right?
I’ve been prepping for my first boutique style art show this week. Printing, mounting, signing, packaging…lots to do still and so little time! And with that – back to work I go….

Hello! I’m branching out – not too far down the street but branching out nonetheless! Next week, I’m participating as an artisan in the Oh Sweet Sadie! Art and Gift Show. I’ve shopped the show before but this is my first time as a vendor. I will have cards and prints available for purchase. I won’t be manning my booth the entire show but I hope my local friends will stop by anyway – so many fun finds at this show!

Oh Sweet Sadie!
A storm rolled in yesterday afternoon – brrrrrr! But it made for a good day to walk around the zoo today. The crowds were gone and the snowfall was still in its pretty phase. Most of the animals were sleeping but the polar bear paced and the wolves howled. Such a fun time!
